Hello there everyone. Its hard to believe that in just over a month I will be on my way to Peru! And I am also very excited because I found out my host family, I will have a mom, dad and sister (who is only one year younger then me!). I will be living in the city of Huancayo, which is located in the Andes mountains, 10,629 ft above sea level and 6 hours east of Lima. My mom and I are very eager to start packing and shopping and all that fun stuff. I can not believe that I have to start packing a month in advance!!! I am sure that this next month will be a flurry of going away parties, packing, traveling, and many arguments on why I should stay :) but I don't think that anyone could talk me out of this, it is an amazing opportunity and I would not miss it for the world! talk to you later!!
